Local Priorities Cycle theft Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Cycle theft, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

You Said, We Did
Cardiff Central NPT PCSO's held a bike marking event at Cardiff University on 24th June. This is one of many bike marking events throughout the City Centre held by South Wales Police.
Due to the number of bike thefts we were asked by many cyclists coming into the City Centre if we still marked bikes.
If you would like your bike registered with Bikeregister.com then come along to the top of Queen St at the Junction of Duke Street on Sunday 29th June 2025 from 11am - 1pm.

Dywedasoch, Gwnaethom

Cycle theft should be reported to us immediately on discovery. Delay in doing so can mean missed opportunities to recover your bike and prosecute the offender.

If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.south-wales.police.uk, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101.

Alternatively, you can stay 100 per cent anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
